In August of 2025, as a newcomer to Iowa, I set out to answer 3 questions:
-Why is everyone telling me that I should not swim in the rivers and lakes?
-Where is the prairie at?
-Why are so many Iowans getting cancer?
This search has turned into The Iowa Prairie Documentary Project. I also did this all as a donations based volunteer. Even now (Sept 2026) I could still use some help with funding as the project continues…here is my GoFundMe LINK
